2nd Annual TU Catholic Golf Scramble Set for May 7 at LaFortune
TULSA — Tee up for a good cause on Thursday, May 7, by supporting the 2nd Annual TU Catholic Golf Scramble benefitting
St. Philip Neri University Parish.
The fundraiser begins at 5 p.m. with dinner, drinks, cigars, and driving range. A round of golf on the
LaFortune Park Par 3 Course gets underway with a shotgun start at 6 pm.
Father James Porter, pastor of St. Philip Neri Parish, names three ways to help:
- Pray for the success of the event and the ministries it supports.
- Became a hole sponsor, which starts at the Bronze level for $1,000.
- Put together a four-person team to play in the scramble. Cost is $600 per team.
"We look forward to sharing a day on the links filled with golf, food, drinks, and great community,” Father Porter said. “We hope you prayerfully consider being a part of this wonderful event, and we look forward to seeing you at LaFortune."
St. Philip Neri University Parish is the spiritual hub and home away from home for Catholic students on the campus of the University of Tulsa. Its mission is for students to know Jesus personally, fully participating in His great commission by first living and then communicating the fullness of life within the family of God, the Church. Students come to the chapel and parish student center for Mass, confessions, Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), bible studies, retreats, meals, service projects, social events, and more.
